A friend submitted a TRV application outside Canada & entered her Surname/Last name incorrectly - it does not match the Surname on her Passport.
She discovered this about 3 weeks AFTER submitting the Application. A Biometrics Letter has been received, but she hasn't submitted Biometrics yet.
(1) Is there any way to notify IRCC and correct the surname? She tried the IRCC Webform several times, but for some reason it's not going through.
(2) Would her visa be refused owing to the surname error??
(3) Is there any way to withdraw the application?
Can someone please advise what can be done?
