TRV issued on NOVEMBER 2016

Hi guys,

Posting for a friend. What will happen if she will not use the TRV issued for her last November 2016 and will expire this July 2018? Does it affect future application if ever she wants to visit Canada? Or what are the impact if she wants to migrate to Canada using express entry. Thank you.

Nothing happens. It doesn't affect any future applications.

Thank you for the response. Shes thinking that if she will try again to apply for a TRV VO might not grant her a visa. Would you advise that its better to use it before it get expire?

Makes no difference if used or not used given each new application will be assessed fresh from beginning. Obviously having successfully applied before is a positive but still no guarantee, no need to use unless already planning a visit.
