TRV for Dependents, Visitor record extended

Hi Guys,

I need help on applying TRV for my spouse and daughter, They both are in Visitor record which is extended till Feb 2017. I need to get the visa for both of them but couldn't find any answers on how to apply from within canada.

Currently we all are in canada.

I am on Work Permit.

1. They can't apply in Canada as they are on visitor's status. Only workers and students can apply for TRVs in Canada. They will have to apply for an overseas office. Either New York or LA. They apply on line or paper, your choice.

Thanks PMM, do you have more information on how to apply on overseas,

do we need to send the passport for Visa stamping, if yes than I dont think we can send passports thru Post for overseas address.

I tried searching online but its more confusing than solving it

1, As your family is in Canada, it would probably be processed in either Ottawa (maybe) LA or New York. Yes you would have to mail your passport.
