Traveling to U.S coming back to Canada

i just recieved my open work permit, so i am a truck driver and wanted to work with a u.s load based company.

My question is can i travel to U.S(obv i have valid U.S b1/b2 visa) and come ba

ok you have just a temporary visa in Canada (even open work permit is temporary). So that does not mean much for USA. It is more or less about what is your current citizenship. And of course you cannot work in USA. Be aware of that.

Unless you get a US work permit you'll have to work for a Canada company.

Let me re-create this, company is in canada ontario based they send drivers to U.S , my question is i don't have a valid trv but i have open work permit, will i be able to cross U.S border with my permit(I HAVE U.S B1/B2 VISA)

Others can comment/correct but A US B1/B2 visa only allows you to visit or attend business meetings in the US it doesn’t really allow to in effect do anything that might be considered work such as delivering or collecting goods.

Even if it did given your temporary status in Canada then crossing back and forth on a regular basis with a B1B2 then at some point you could be refused entry into the US and could even have issues back into Canada.

Not having a valid TRV would also be an issue given the exception to enter US and come back with an expired TRV only as I read it applies to a visit not regular travel. A work permit is not a travel document.
