Travel document and PR

Hi I just entered Toronto with a travel document ( which I received on humanatarian grounds) as I was not able to complete my residency obligation. How should I apply for my PR , should I apply for a new PR or renew my PR. Need an urgent reply.Thanks

You are now in Canada.

You obviously lucked out and was able to get in with H & C.

When the time comes you should be renewing the PR you have, not applying for a new one.

Did you receive a letter stating that you received it on humanitarian grounds

No I did not recieve any letter. Just got my travel document .
