Hello,
I've received MR and now my application is in Sydney, will be sent to VO in several weeks (hopefully). Where should I mail the police clearance certificate? Is it safe to mail it to VO before the application is mailed there? Or mail it to Sydney and with a chance that they receive it after the application is mailed to VO?

Please share your experience

Hi lilotia,

My suggestion is to wait until they ask you. Because you don't know exactly where you should send them. I don't want you to take a chance as PCC's are original documents that you are going to submit. They will surely ask you to submit at later stages, then you have a proper idea where to send them.

Let's wait and see if any seniors suggest any better idea for you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

Thanks for your reply.
The problem is that I've already asked for police certificate from my consulate and now I must give them the mailing address of an immigration organization. They cannot mail this certificate to me.
The certificate should be ready in several weeks.

Hi lilotia,

I also got my PCCs from Indian consulate and then I sent to CIO when I submitted my application. So, why can't you get the PCCs?

Anyway, if it's possible to contact consulate...make a try and ask them to send the PCC to you directly.

Hello lilotia,

I was in a similar situation - the BCPNP acceptance packet suggested that I send my application to the CIO immediately, even if I did not have my police certificates ready. So I sent my application (without the police certificates) to the CIO. Then I finally got my police certificates and I called the call centre to ask them where to send it. They suggested sending it to the CIO since that is still where my application is. They said to write "urgent - BCPNP police certificates" on the envelope. So that is what I did.

Of course, I am not certain if that is the best thing to do, and who knows if the call centre agents know what they are talking about - they give conflicting information all the time in my experience :p Other people suggested to wait until the application is in CPP-Ottawa. I guess I got excited and wanted it added right away if possible.

- Leebee

No AOR yet, little bit worried..
Hi reg6724,

I see that your application was received at CIO on Oct 29. Has CIO en-cashed your fees OR not yet? There are 5 applicants from November who's fees has already been en-cashed already a week ago. I don't know your mode of payment credit card/draft. Please follow-up with bank if it's a draft.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello

Sarayu, Thanks for your suggestion, however my consulate refuses to mail police certificate to me :(. I guess I should give them the address of my VO, hopefully my application will be there by then.

leebee, thank you for sharing. I was told that the application will be sent from CIO in several weeks. So there is a good chance that PCC will get there after the application will be sent to VO..

I don't know what's taking them so long to send out MR's for Oct applicants.

This wait is killing me.

Can you please tell me if it's possible to contact them with this query? I mean, do they answer these kind of questions about not getting AOR and MR etc?
