you cannot go to india unless you receive PR card. If you leave canada, you will need apply for some sort of visa, not sure about the name, then you can come to canada.

before flagpolling, you can go to india and come back on pr visa..

First of all thank you so much for your encouraging words.

I see that your passport was received at CPP-O on Sept 03, 2013. Since you are an "in Canada" applicant, you should get your passport back maximum by Sept 24, 2013 (assuming 3 weeks). So, if you go for landing right away and finish it let's say by Sept 30, 2013, then I am very sure that you will get your PR card by end of Nov 2013. So, you will still have plenty of time to fly to India for Sankranthi. So, don't worry at all...I am 200% sure that you are completely safe side.

Hi lpl362,

Hope you are doing well. Yesterday I received an email from Ottawa regarding my pcc. They requested me to submit new pcc on march 2013, that time I sent my certified translated to them. Yesterday, they asked me to send the original one which is not in English language. I submitted it today. Apparently, yes, they are working on files.. I am hoping I ll receive some good news in very near future. BTW, I will let you guys know. I could be receiving PPR in a month!!!

I'm also a November applicant, I'm just wondering how long cic will send ppr after your file
Went "we started processing your application"
It's been 3 months and 25 days after my file changed and I don't hear anything since then.

Is there anyone here with the same experience like mine..
