Hi Anser0131,

I received a similar letter reminding me to pay RPRF input standing this week.

Did you also receive any request for fingerprintin etc ?
And, did the letter you received reminded you it requested for the RPRF. My letter says "reminding" so I am wondering if I missed a letter in my mail box !?

Thanks,
Indiapnp
No, I did not receive requests for fingerprinting as I submitted along with my application.

My email was also a reminding email for RPRF, I think they do that cause some people pay the fee along with their applications and some people(like me) pay the RPRF after medical without request. I think it is just a reminder for people still haven't done it or you can say request those people who haven't done it to get it done.

Guys, I got my GCMS a couple days ago, the application status on there was "in progress" (updated on 02 may), but it's still "mr have been received" on e-cas since the end of march. I was just wondering which one should i believe? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi lpl362,

This is really interesting and best example to say ECAS status is not up to date. Of course, your GCMS info is the most latest and you can believe it. Can you please let us know more about your time lines? Good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi lpl362,

Thanks for your prompt response. My ECAS was updated on March 21 and there is no update after that and it's 2.5 months now. I don't know may be my case also like your's...hahaha who knows. Any way, I also applied for my GCMS notes on May 22.

Can you tell me how long it took for you to receive your GCMS after you applied?

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I got my AOR and then medial request, following which I was waiting a request for finger print or something similar... However, I received a letter reminding RPRF and no request for finger printing etc..
I am getting my corresponce by post mail and worried that a letter is perhaps misplaced!!??

I am applying form within Canada(Toronto), I hear that we can get finger prints and submit without being asked.
Can you please advise
1. what exactly i need to do?
2. from where can I get it done?
3. Where do we need to submit my results?
4. Any other information that I need to know!?

My online ECAS says "in process" and when I click it, it says medical results received and application in process may 15, 2013
Where exactly am I in the process, pls help!?

Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone,

We have finally received our share of good news from CPP-O :) :) :) :) :)

RPRF and passport request email came late night of the 29th of May, was too busy to update right away...

I have previously paid the fee though, they don't seem to be aware of it  And then I understood why: in the email they ask us to send the receipt to the following email: CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca but when i paid it in April I sent it to the other one (I assume to the general enquiries: ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca).

Anyway I resent the receipt to the required address, the only reason why I cant say I'm absolutely happy is that we will have to wait till July to send our passports since we are leaving for a 3-week-vacation in 10 days. I assume that's ok because they give you 60 days to send them your passports.

At least this news means that though they are mainly working on the backlog now, our processes are still on. Don't lose hope, guys! Wishing everybody speedy results!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

P.S.: Our ECAS changed into "Decision Made" 2 days later after the email, i.e. today - May 31st. Sarayu, could you please update our track info? Thnx :)
Congrats!

Yusufjoseph,

good evening. Your timeline is similar to mine, yours is shifted 3 days ahead of mine (concerning medical request, medical results received and "in process" on ECAS). Could you please answer the two following questions?

1. How many dependants do you have?
2. How many Countries did you live in for more than six months (i. e., how many PCCs did you have to submit to CIC?)?

Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation.

Regards,

philfresh

Hello lpl362,

Thats good news from you. My case is similar to yours. almost the same timeline. It has not been updated since 2.5 months ago. They requested me for new PCC almost when the med results received. According to my ECAS, the application is not "In process". I have also applied for GCMS on May 1st - still waiting to get it. I am hoping my case will be also in the same boat. i will keep you posted when I get it.

BTW, Did they ask you for additional doc?

Thank you

The fingerprints you talking about is for RCMP Criminal Background Check correct? If you are afraid that you missed a mail, you can always do it now and submit it. Much like RPRF, the fingerprints can be done without requests.

I don't know how you going to do it in Toronto but usually there is a fingerprinting agency, take the prints there then either have them send straight to Ottawa or send it to you(then you can mail to Ottawa).

Hi philfresh,

Thnx for congratulations :)

As for your questions:
1. Just 1 dependant, my spouse who is also in Canada
2. We sent only one PCC each, just from our home countries since neither of us lived anywhere else more than 6 months.

Is your situation very different from mine? How many dependants?

Hope your passport request will come soon as well :) best of luck to u!!!!!!!

Hi, Yusufjoseph!

Thank you very much for the shared info. My situation is a bit different, since i got zero dependants, but i had to provide Immigration Canada with 3 PCCs.

I hope to get the PPR (CoPR, in my case) soon!

All the best!
