Resend photos on Dec 28.

The Status still says "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed."

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to re-assess the photos and send the PR card? thanks.

Whats next??
CIC will assess if you photo meets requirement. then your status will change to additional documents are uploaded. once you see your application is approved. You are expected to get your card about 2-5 days.

Hi everyone,

The CIC website says that normal processing time for PR card is 61 days. Is this generally correct or is it usually longer or shorter? I'm trying to plan my landing so that I receive PR card around a certain date. Can anybody share their experience? Thank you!

It varies case to case. If you are asked to resend photos, it might take around 4 months but if you are not asked to resend photo, they are on average within 61 days. I landed on November 17 and Card was approved on Jan 9. Hoping to get in mail today or early next week. Also you can use the tracker from below link to get an idea.

Thank you! In which case do people usually get asked to resend photos? Is it because of the format not matching requirements? Why does it seem like a common problem for a lot of people..
