Guys, need some help with this- I landed at Toronto Airport on October 09, 2016 but my friend in Alberta has not received the cards yet.
I am trying to reach this number - +1 613 944 4000 to inquire about it but strangely, when it tries to connect to the other number (once you press some options and go for check your application status etc), it always gets disconnected after the message - "the call cannot be completed from the area you have dialled". I am currently in US and this is happening since last 2 to 3 weeks. Earlier, I was able to get thru and talk to an agent/representative but now it is not working. Anyone else outside of Canada faced this issue? If yes, is there any other way to get thru on this number?

Try with this number 18882422100 .. select option for English , then select for PR card status (mostly 2) and finally select for speak to representative "0".

Hi Reddysar, I tried this number too, same message. Actually if you dial the number I gave, it will transfer it to the number you have provided. For some reason now they have stopped connecting the calls from outside Canada it seems.

guys i landed on 27th october still no PR card or Photo request , so is it safe to assume i wont get a photo request as i got the email which everyone is talking about ,

i called IRCC they said there is a postal delay of 3 weeks so just wanna know has anyone got their PR card who landed after oct 25?

Landed on October 29th, still waiting. I wish they would communicate these things better. A simple mass email about a delay rather than having to call or dig around the forums.

i called them today and same thing the agent says "the card is delayed and he will send a message to nova scotia and nova scotia has 3 months to send my card doesnt mean they will take 3 months"

so may be another three weeks or so

I called IRCC and they said it takes 41 days so call after 14 DEc

I called them last week, they keep a record of when did you call the last time and since I was calling twice within 7 days, I was asked to call again this week. Even for my cards, I was told that they were in for printing but there is an overall delay of about 3 weeks. So hopefully, I should get mine by the end of this week but not sure.

yes the agent told me the same thing that there is a postal delay of 3 weeks , how ever wen i called the second time he said he will send an email to sydney processing office and i shall have the cards soon.

so i think its worth the wait!!!
