Tourist VISA from India - No Change In Status - 3 weeks !!

My parents applied for tourist visas online about 3 weeks ago. However, the application status is still stuck on "Open". Image here: http://pasteboard.co/3SXZkljvk.png

Is there something that's wrong with our application? Or am I panicking for no reason?

You are panicking for no reason.
Current average processing time in India is 32 days for TRVs. (per CIC website)

I personally know of people who applied middle of June and received visa in middle of July.
Just wait and keep checking for updates.

I expect you'll get the "request for passport" in the next 5-8 days (hopefully)!

I am waiting since 10 June'16 for my parent's TRV. No update yet.
