I am a permanent resident and I would like to get my mother a tourist visa to visit us, can I apply for her behalf using the on line application in cic.gc.ca website?

All the "online" stuff yes.

For actual submission of paper and TRV stamping it has to be done in the country of residence.

was wondering it says 116 days to process for extension of visitor visa for parents ... has anyone applied for their parents extension stay here in Canada & did anyone receive a + ve reply yet??
