To those whose applications were transferred to LA....

Hi, there,

I applied for CEC in Oct 2010, received FN (no ME) in Mar 2011 and then got notified that my files were transferred to LA in May 2011. I have not heard back from LA since then.

Also, I noticed that the processing time became 14mon recently , so I would like to get an idea of the status of those of you whose files were transferred to LA this year.

I applied in Sept 2010, received confirmation on Feb 2011 and my files were transfer to LA in May 2011 as well, nothing has happened since then....

My file was transferred two days after I got the medical request. So frustrating as well.

I received Medicals on 16 May and file got transferred to LA on May 31 ,did not hear back again from them .

Well I have an update about this, I just received the med exam and police certificate request from LA

-applied in Sept 2010,
-received confirmation on Feb 2011
-my files were transfer to LA in May 2011
-med exam and police certificate request Aug/09/11

Congrats on your Medicals . Haven't u submitted your Police letter at the time of submission of your CEC application ?

For my country of origin you have to submit two types, in the original application I submitted the state police clearance, for the federal police clearance you have to wait for the Canadian Consulate to request this.

I just did Medicals and Police clearance a couple of days ago; I hope it doesn't take long to hear back from them again.

me im a may 2010 applicant received my aor on sept 2010 received by march that my files were transferred to la last may i received
medical request done my medicals on may 17, 2011 but have not heard anything from la and its been 3 months im now worried?

I received Email today asking to provide more documents
Proof of legal status in Canada
Personal written statement stating current activity in Canada since May 26, 2011
Personal written statement and documentary evidence showing total income for 2009 - 2010 (Please also provide all T4's)

I applied in Nov 2010, got the file number in march 2011, file transferred to LA in May 31 2011, got the medical in end of august, did medical in sep 2011, currently got the passport request.
