Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Totally understandable.

One last question.
So the 2016 PGP applications, some have not received SA and some are already at the medical exams phase.
Is it dependent on the LVO or on the order application was received (jan 4th, 5th...) ?

Stage-1 (Sponsorship Eligibility) is solely done by CPC-M. Ideally, they should have approved sponsorship and transferred the files to LVO based on application receipt date. But they perhaps did not (not sure). The worst part is that CPC-M perhaps approved some cases which were not notified via email/mail. So, some may not even know if their files have already being processed or in queue at LVO.

I saw the information somewhere but have been looking through pages today and cannot find it. Can someone please say what are the options to choose to be redirected to the agent when calling CIC?

I Applied on Jan 4 2016, I received email from CIC to send Medicals and PCC for my parents on Oct 5.
I complete both by Oct 14 and send email to CIC as indicated. I can see online that medicals results have been received, but they didnt mention anything about PCC. Is that something to worry? Do you know what would be next step?

I'm planning to sponsor my parents in the near future so I'm confusion over the income requirements. How much should I have for 3 people? Because on the income table its C$37,650....but im not quite sure.

Yes you can. My mother dadaum2 is in India and visa office was Ottawa.We sent her passport to New Delhi Visa office and received back with visa stamp within a week.

hey few questions on your msg
after completing medicals and submitting PCC, and paid RPRF - how many days later you got the passport submission request?
was the passport request sent in email or via mail to your parents/or to you?
did you send it in courier or did you go to the local vfs office and submitted the passport with the letter?

my parents are in chennai, they got the request for medicals (they will be going next week), pcc (tomorrow appointment) and rprf (paid)

whats happening with new Delhi, 4-5 months back I received the document request for my mother along with medical and RPRF and PCC, submitted all of it by end of July and now its been 3 months and no updates other than medical passed on CIC .

though I have submitted all documents for 3 months now, the review of submitted documents is till empty on online status.

any updates for other New Delhi folks, have you gotten any further ? is this a similar trend you see it.

hey i am just adding one info to the info replied by bqm;

i applied PGP in jan 2016, 2015 NOA was not yet available which is known to everyone, my 2014 was 47000, i had to reasses my 2014 NOA and brought it to 49k cad

hey i hope you are in canada, are you planning to submit your tax on lesser side once you Parents PR is received?
Reason: my friend shared this updated that; for many after filing their tax for next year, they got their PR, assume in your case if there was plans to show your 2016 income less than the LICO table, you will get your request for Passport after the period of filing tax.

requirement is more or less same, but do refer to the checklist of supervisa, i remember doing that for my parents.
Note: this thread is only PGP only, not about or for supervisa, no offence, just reminding

Same here, almost 3 months after submitting documents to New Delhi Visa office, no response till date. (Every thing else is done, like Medical / PCC / RPFR and background forms).
