Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

Hello mysteryocean,
You have almost same timeline as me..... but we submitted PP in November. so let see how long they will take. Did you apply under for whole family or for yourself only? Have you got medical received on your status.

my medical received status appeared on 11th nov, actually i did my medical on 30th july but my wife was pregnant and she was denied for x ray and was told to wait. but when she got in 7th month, we consulted our doctoer n she said its ok to go for x ray so we did her x ray on 22 oct. i guess may be thats why our case is delayed. god knows, i am hoping to get DM by 11th dec, it usually take a month after medical received!!

Reasons for the delay after your file goes In process;

# May be High volume of applications are In process and schedule to issue visa.

# May be awaiting final reviews.

# May be considering to issue before Christmas.

# May be Issued in the month of January.

Finallyyyy, got the passports in India in Dec 1st week. But the online status still shows "medicals received".
Passports on the way in DHL. Since I live in canada, going to the border sometime next week.

hey buddy!!, i am also in canada. i sent my passport to new delhi through DHL. i heard that its illegal to send passport outside india through courier, infact no courier service will collect passport to deliver outside india. so how did you do it? your reply could help many of us in future

Read on this forum that only dhl ships passports outside India. My father showed passports to dhl guys before packing and I received them in 5 days. Canada border agency did open the package. Good luck guys.
