Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

I Want to share my Time Line
Applied to Manitoba on 13 Sep 2011
Got File No on 28 Nov 2011
Got LOA on 26 June 2012

I applied under general Stream from India.
I am from INDIA. I Applied my case as a single. I have girlfriend. I want to know what is best option for me to add her for applying to CIC New Delhi. If I get marry now they is she eligible for applying with me? If yes will my case be smooth? I know they can call me for VISA interview. because they might think this marriage might be fake. second option I will apply alone and wait for my PR then marry her and apply for PR for her?

U can go for either option. Both ways are ok. both of the option will work like given below.

1. If u want to add her now, u will have to inform MPNP guys that u are marrying & u need to send all her docs & marriage proofs. upon receiving their clearance, u can apply for both of urs PR at New Delhi office. Remember MPNP has issued an LOA just for you & if you wanna add ur wife u have to get LOA for her as well.

2. u can apply for her later. Once u received ur PR, u will have to come back to INdia to marry her & then you can apply for her PR. For more details & timeline For spouse/marriage cases u can search spouse thread on this website.

In my opinion if u will apply for her now, it will delay your file processing. U never know how much time will MPNP guys will take to issue her PR & if they got any kind of doubt for this marriage they can delay it a lot. So i suggest you to get ur PR first & then apply for her.

Not At all my friend.... they just need the revised fees as the foreign exchange rates are fluctuating a lot. So they asked you to provide the correct fees thats it. Don;t worry about it at all.

Hi Amrit, well no news so far. Just waiting. All i heard from there side was the phone call i got on around 22 may asking whether i will land there before my medical expires ? thats it. I am afraid m gonna get my passports back with no visa. they did it to some of the cases saying we will ask for it when we require it.

So in ur case they returned ur passports in march 2012, right ? & when did they ask for it again ? Hv u already been there in canada ?

I am awaiting my landing. I moved back to India in Nov/2011, and currently work and live here. I have my landing visa with me now, I must land before Nov/2012. Could you please share your landing experience? Did you show proof of fund at the airport during landing? Thanks. Frontenacs.

so can u guide please ? did u applied for the PR card there .. when u will get u r PR card.. and if my wife will stay there can she take my PR card from the authority ??

Every individual has his/her own problem. My problem was that I want to continue my younger son's class 10+1 and +2 from India only. Now he is in 10+1. So, I planning to shift my family in April 2014 or so. I again my self planning to go to winnipeg very shortly in a month or so after finishing my work in home country. Yes I had applied for our PR Cards and suppose to receive as per their discretion approximately with in 3 to 4 months or so.

About your case; As per my knowledge you can come to your home country for securing your job/work or disposal of your assets if you want, but you have to first land in canada and should reach your nominated respective province/place by doing your landing formalities before expiry of your immigrant visa and then you have to stay over there for 730 days out of next five years for maintaining your PR status. As per your query of your wife? yes she can stay over there and can fulfill the criteria for maintaining the PR status and your PR cards will be dispatched to your provided Canadian address at the time of landing.

1). I must land before Nov/2012. Yes, you must land before December 04, 2012.
2). Could you please share your landing experience? It was great and smooth.
3). Did you show proof of fund at the airport during landing? Yes I had declared POF at the time of immigration clearance at
Toronto.

Hi Jassi so when did u exactly sent ur passport ? Hv u got any other documents request after that ? Sunshine got his visa about a month before & he might be enjoying Winnipeg keep in touch ..
