I sent my application to cic in may 2013 and i got 1 AOR in july 2013 from CIC and second in AUG 2013 ...my medical done on 4 dec 2013 and showing medical received in ecas on 24 dec 2013 after taht now communication....

Most of my friend sin this forum got their PP back thoase got Medical request after me and near to the date i got my medical request....

still the ecas is showing "IN PROCESS"...now this wait is killing the patience of mine....really try to concentrate on work but cant do that.....

Why there is delay in my file....though I have already submit the all required documents ....and all those are genuine......i can understand what can b the reason.......



when ecas will be decison made and I will hold my PP with Maple sticker.....

Hi Team ,
Good Day ,Hope every one is doing good!! ..I have one query regarding passport renewal.. I have got Canada Permanent Resident visa from the NewDelhi visa ofice on Jan 2014 and is valid till 2 Sep 2014.
My passport will be expired on month of September ,2014. Hence I am planning to renewal the passport before travelling to Canada because I heard that some airlines might not allow to travel from India with passport validity less than 6 months . Hence Could you please suggest if I can renewal the passport which is having the Canada PR visa ? and also if I renew Does the visa carries the same validity which is mentioned in current passport.Please guide me as it is important for my travel.

@ Sudhak,

Airline or Immigration Authorities cannot stop you to travel canada If you even have 10 days of validity on ur passport or 10 days before your visa Expires. If you go to renewal process it will take more one or It may take arround 2 months. I suggest you to travel on same passport.But Rest is all up to you.

and also gor PPR. but before PPR ecas status was changed to decision made.
Can you please tell why it is like that. Please give your comments

But I didnt notice inprogress in ecas status.

Sadkak i think u can get ur passport renewed in Winnipeg it self and fast too. Its probably near MTS tower there.
