Hi guys,

Meron sana ako inquiry kung pwede ba doon na sa canada kukuha ako ng new passport with my updated surname ko kasi 2019 mag expire pa yung passport ko..nakasubmit na kami for PR application and our AOR is 17th April..married status..any advice and suggestions..Hoping for a positive response..maraming salamat..
If legally married na kayo and not common law status, as far as I know, hindi pupwede.
... When you receive PPR, you'll be asked to fill up Appendix B containing your personal details (check mo na lang online yung contents ng appendix B). They'll release your visa and COPR (certificate of permanent residence) using those information.

Ung COPR gagamitin natin until mag landing... and eventually until maging citizen... Anyway, may pipirmahan sa COPR ang immigration officer to authenticate the details... Before we can be allowed to enter Canada... so infos need to match ...

... It'll induce many questions from the immigration officers, IMHO ... worse, this may lead them to conclude a case of "misrepresentation" w/c is a ground for inadmissibility.

You may want to check this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/protection/fraud/document.asp

... Good luck to all of us ...

Congratz po to all VOH na! I rejoice in all of you! ^_^

And I know in my time kayo naman magiging masaya for me! God Bless Us!
Hi po! Yung sa amin po ng asawa ko hiningian kami ng proof na nakapag apply na kmi for a police clearance from Qatar before daw they give an extension dun sa 30 days na deadline..I already emailed them the copy of our application last week pero wala pa silang reply.

Are CIIP and COA just the same thing? Because when I search for either, they lead me to https://register.planningforcanada.ca/ for registration.

Pilot G4 with 0.3 tip is better ... yun yung ginamit ko to fill up ung mga previous PR application forms submitted ko.

Although I found a way to encode our details in the form. I recall I right clicked the box or field, then there's a menu that appeared on the right where I chose text.. There's a size and text style option and you can encode 2 text lines in one box row. ... Pakikapa / check mo na lang, if mapagtyatiyagaan mo.

... Good luck to all of us ...

Hi Guys,

Need urgent help.

I received an email that my application for PR is being processed at Hong Kong Visa Office. I received an email as below:

This message is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a member of the provincial nominee class. Your file has now been transferred to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong for further processing.

This letter is comprised of two parts: the first part is a request for documentation that requires your immediate action. The second part contains general information which you should carefully review.

PART ONE – DOCUMENT REQUEST

In order to prepare your application for further processing, the following documentation must be received by our office within 30 days from the date of this letter:

For you, the principal applicant, if not yet submitted:
¨ Offer of employment: If you have an offer of employment in Canada, you must submit an updated copy of the employment offer from your employer in Canada.
¨ Employment Reference Letter: A letter for each declared period of employment. For employment in China, letter(s) must include the business name and address in Chinese characters as well as an English or French translation.
¨ Business Licence(s): If you have declared owning equity in any business(es), you must submit a copy of the applicable business licence(s) in addition to evidence to support your stated equity.
¨ Education credentials: All documentation (diplomas and transcripts) to support your declared post-secondary education or vocational training.
¨ Language abilities: Any documentation you would like to submit as evidence of your abilities in either of Canada’s official languages, English or French. You are strongly encouraged to submit the results of an IELTS exam or Test d’évaluation de français (TEF).
¨ Proof of funds: Any evidence of funds that will assist you in establishing in Canada.
¨ Any other documentation you would like to submit as evidence of your ability to become economically established in Canada.
¨ Employment reference letter for your spouse for his/her present job. If your spouse is presently unemployed, please submit an employment reference letter from his/her most recent employer. For employment in China, letter must include the business name and address in Chinese characters as well as an English or French translation.

For the principal applicant and all dependents, whether accompanying you to Canada or not:
¨ If you have not yet undergone an immigration medical exam or your immigration medical exam results will expire within the next 120 days, you are required to undergo an Upfront Medical exam and include a copy of the Upfront Medical Report form (IMM 1017B) from your panel physician. For instructions on how to undergo an upfront medical exam, visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp and review the section “Undergo your exam before you submit your application.” Medical instruction forms will not be sent to you.
¨ If not yet submitted: Copy of Hukou (household register) if you reside in the People’s Republic of China or Taiwan, accompanied by a notarized translation into either English or French. Translation must be part of the notarized booklet.
¨ If not yet submitted: Copy of the bio-data page of your valid passport. DO NOT submit your original passport at this time.

How long will it take to process my application?
Processing times vary. You can consult the processing times for reference at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times
Please be aware that answering e-mails takes time away from processing applications. For this reason, unless your application has exceeded normal processing times, please limit your correspondence to notifying us of changes in your application.

Please consult the following resources about settlement in Canada:
• For information on language assessment and training, visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/after-education-language.asp

We trust that this information concerning your application for permanent residence in Canada is helpful.

Sincerely,

Immigration Section

QUESTIONS PO:

1. Do I need to submit the above documents requested in part 1 even if I have submitted them in the MPNP Application? - Like Employment Reference Letters, Education credentials, Proof of Funds, Employment Reference Letters of Spouse? I believe na-submit na po namin ito sa MPNP stage and was not required sa PR paper based application.

Should I proceed doing the medical or wait further?

3. RPRF - This one magagawa ko na po.

4. Updated Schedule A Background Declaration and Additional family Info.

5. Or itong letter na ito po ba ay just informing me na my file has been transferred as stated on their 1st sentence?

Currently I received my AOR May 1st and waiting for MR at RPRF. I know stated po dito yun kaso how about po yung mga hinihingi pa na iba? Also, upfront Medical - is this applicable to a PR Application - Paper Based?

Malaking tulong po ang pagsagot nyo.

Thank you po in advance.

Yes, submit them, as the letter also says your file will be at risk of being refused if you do not fulfill the request in 30 days. Do you really want to take that risk?

Should I proceed doing the medical or wait further?
They instructed you to take an upfront medical, so take an upfront medical. This is essentially their medical request for you.

Plus submit the other requested forms and RPRF as well.

I haven't seen too many cases from HKVO, so it's best to simply follow their instructions.
