Una ko sa Timbol (for work permit), 2nd time ko dito na sa Canada after ako nakaalis.

Required during IME na i-disclose lahat ng medical (maski minor) conditions. Yung DMP ang mag-a-assess if yung medical condition is significant na kailangan ilagay sa Medical Report. Usually, prescribe ka lang ng additional examinations, or treatment to clear up minor conditions.

Eto ang grounds for medical inadmissability:
The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act has the following provisions on medical inadmissibility:
Section 38. (1) A foreign national is inadmissible on health grounds if their health condition
(a) is likely to be a danger to public health;
(b) is likely to be a danger to public safety;
(c) might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services.

IMHO -
(a) carrier ka ng nakakahawang sakit (TB etc.)
(b) HIV, or me mental health problems (psychosis, dementia etc.)
(c) pre-existing condition na kailangan ng special and continued treatment (advanced stages terminal diseases, or in children - congenital defects requiring special medical care)

At if yung demands ng work (for principal applicant) or job eh mabigat, at ang assessment is di mo kakayanin kahit in good physical health ka (i.e. regular lifting ng heavy objects etc.) - pwede ka rin mag fail sa medical assessment (final).

Usually physical examination under IME, examinees are required to strip up to undies and be examined head to toe.

Ganun ang ginawa sa akin sa Timbol, but dito sa Canada di na (perhaps me previous history na ako on-file).

Better call up the Medical office/clinic kung ano ang procedures na ginagawa for IME (Canada) so you can prepare for that ahead of time.

I would always advise to write a cover letter whenever submitting something to CEM. Especially in this case - if you are just submitting the RPRF alone - there is no official form. If you are submitting the RPRF along with other documents, just attaching the check to the email will do.

In your case, I would suggest you write a cover letter (note - you need to always specify your File No. or UCI in any correspondence with CIC/CEM) - and state there that this check or proof of payment (bank draft etc.), in the amount of <Php x or $ x> is for the payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fees for you, the principal applicant and your dependents.

IMHO, sa tingin ko CEM people have a lot of things already on their mind, sa dami ng applications to be processed. So better we say exactly kung ano purpose ng correspondence mo, at the same time, malinaw na reference yung file # mo para madali na nila i-process para saan (i.e.bubunutin pa ang file mo, aalamin kung ilan ang dependents, etc.) and then madali din sila mag decision saan na pupunta ang application mo, or anong next sa process sa application mo.

/hope this helps - and good luck to all....

awesome!! you're so great! thanks :))

I think mabilis lang yan. Maaring within a week or less after MCPO nasa Singapore na yan. Mine was stamped 5/15 (same date of AOR-CEM, received and postmarked at MCPO 5/19 then received here in Canada after 10 days (5/29) via Urgent Air Post. 15 days in all from file transfer/AOR-CEM.

Usually, duration to arrange and have IME done as instructed in MR is 30 days. Note - '30 days from receipt of this letter'. So start ka magbilang kung kelan mo natanggap yung MR post mail.
Usually, duration to complete and submit added docs as instructed and included with the AOR-CEM is 60 days.

Kaya talagang uunahin ang IME. Then you can concentrate on completing the added docs to be submitted to CEM.

Ang ginawa ko is - as soon as natanggap ko via post mail yung MR, at nabasa ko yung duration, I sent via email an 'Acknowledgement of Receipt of Medical Request (MR)' to CEM. Since I am already in another country I wanted to make sure CEM and I count the 30 days from the same date - the date when I received the post mail. So stated dun that 'I acknowledge receipt of Medical Request, stamped with date <date>, postmarked at MCPO on <date> and received here at our residence on <date>'. So start ng 30 days is the date I received it, not CEM's date of sending it out to MCPO. Better be sure CEM and I count the same....otherwise...open for technicalities. No gray areas on date received....

Then as I posted also before - I sent a 'Notice of Medical Examinations Performed' to CEM as soon as we finished the IMEs.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/timeline-for-filipinos-submitted-pnppr-applctions-at-cio-t93206.30.html

You could do the same as well given you are in Singapore - lugi ka sa transmittal time from CEM/MCPO.

/hope this helps...good luck to all...

Congrats!

Better check SPAM folder regularly or mark email address / emails from CEM as 'not spam' :)

tanong ko lang po sa mga may MR na, was it stated in the letter for it to be accomplished "30 days from receipt of this letter?"

sana nga so we would have some breathing room. kasi by appointment po yung DMP dito and thier schedules are not that flexible.

Thank po ulit
