Hello all,
Me and my wife are permanent residents in Canada, but have not moved yet to Canada as of now, planning that soon. Now when my wife is pregnant, our plan is to go to Canada to deliver the baby and come back to our home town. As I dont want to stay long in Canada after the delivery, I wanted to ask how long does it take to get the Canadian passport for the new Canadian born baby? Should I consider I should get it in a week? or does it take longer than that?
Please help me so that I can plan accordingly.
