you have to give them MORE photos? Do they have to be a recent one or can i just send 2 more of the immigration photos i sent in with my visa application?

My thoughts exactly! Im sure i gave them 6.. is that not enough?! now they want another 2! must be for your visa and Perm Res Card

For those people who received PPR by email (or by post for that matter!) were there any special instructions, or forms to be signed?

The reason i ask is, I am in canada right now, but have my registered address as my parents address in england. They open any important letters for me. I was planning on sending my passport to them to send to london.

Yes Pink Lady. There is a small form you will need to complete - no signing tho, Just a general details sheet. Two Additional Passport photos with your file number and full name written on the back. Also a return addressed envelope which has to be at least A4, so your COPR and Passport can be safely sent to you.

Nope - i didn't. i just printed the PDF and did it myself. I sent my Passport in last Thursday and i still haven't received a letter version of the PPR.

There is a form and photo instruction attached with the PPR e-mail, there is no other form for the postage choice. You have to provide a
strong and large enough self-address envelope with 2 photos.

At first I was wondering what way did they send back the passport. When I received it yesterday and they sent out on Monday, it was the
next day deliver recorded.

I think the fast way for you is send back to your friend in UK then your friend used DHL or Fedex post to Canada to you. It would be faster
to let Visa Office send to Canada.

Oh, perfect there are no other forms to fill in about the next day delivery. So they will choose what service they use to send me back the passport. They will do it in a safe way anyway just like they did it for you. It`s their responsability. Today I received my visitor extension so I am gonna send my passport to London. I think I will use UPS or DHL and I let CHC send it back to me.

How large envelope did u send them?
I mean what did they send back to you? Just the passport or aother forms to fill in? Do you think A4 size envelope is good enough?

Thanks for the info. I am on my way to send the passport too from Canada to the UK and I let them send me back to Canada. Did u send ur passport from Canada to the UK or u did it in the UK? Do u let them send it to Canada to you or somewhere else? What postal service did u use?

I'm still in the UK. so i just used Royal Mail Guaranteed 1PM post. Gave my return address here so hopefully it should be back with me by the end of next week sometime.

The envelope they require is at least 21cm X30 cm that can be strong enough to transport your passport and visa!!
I use the envelope with bubble protect.

I plan to lan in June as I got children currently studying in England. I will land after they finish their exam.

Yes, you have to send 2 more photos, 1 is use on your landing paper. You can just send 2 more immigration photos as long as
their size is fix to the photo requirment.
