Finally....I got my passport back today! The Visa Office send out on 14th(Valentine Day) and arrived this morning!!!!

Hoping everyone who are waiting for PPR and passports will come very soon!!! All the best to them!!

YAY! so how long was your turn around? Im guessing your in england? when did you send it?

Ha! You guys may be on the same flight depending on how long it takes for his visa to come back!! You won't believe it but my MP just sent me an email confirming that his request for passport was sent out yesterday ! YIPPEE!! The MP's here seem to turn things around pretty quick in regards to accessing info!

That would be funny if we end up sitting next to one another as well. Air Transat have a cheap flight from Gatwick - but i think i'll fly Air Canada from Heathrow - as there is 4 flights a day to chose from.

No clue what flight he will be taking, either way I made it very clear there is a quick interview at the end don't get hammered on the flight!

It was pretty fast for you. Did they send ur passport by regsistered post? I wonder what if I ask CHC to post it to a friend who lives in the UK than she sends me back by DHL?
I don`t know how they would send it to Canada as Royal MAil and Canadian Post are involved in it I am afraid if there will be any problems whose responsability is in case if they loose or mess it up at the airport ?

Yes...I am lucky! My case is pretty fast. The passport they sent me back was by regsistered post. I think it was the next day deliver guarantee post.
There is a form you need to fill in where you want your passport to be send to.

Thank you Motul for the info.No, I am in Canada as a visitor. Still hesitating to send or to do not send the passport as next week I should get the result of my visitor extension otherwise I have to leave Canada as my visitor status will expire at the beginning of MArch. So at the moment just trying to get some info about how they post from the UK to Canada in case if I can stay here as I get the visitor extension.

I am just wondering what postal service they use to send the passport from London to Canada.
Otherwise as you got yours pretty fast in the UK I might ask them to post it to a friend who lives in London then she would send it to me by DHL or Fedex.
It might be faster and safer I don`t know.

Anyway I will see if I will get the result of the extension or not. Thanks for your help.

Hi Juljud:

There is a form and photo instruction attached with the PPR e-mail, there is no other form for the postage choice. You have to provide a
strong and large enough self-address envelope with 2 photos.

At first I was wondering what way did they send back the passport. When I received it yesterday and they sent out on Monday, it was the
next day deliver recorded.

I think the fast way for you is send back to your friend in UK then your friend used DHL or Fedex post to Canada to you. It would be faster
to let Visa Office send to Canada.

Can I just ask what did you ask your MP to check on the status of your application? We are thinking about doing the same thing but aren't quite sure on what to ask??
