Dear everyone, I NEED HELP.
I'm freaking out so much.... I just checked ECAS and it says DECISION MADE.
It can't be....can't be, I mean...we only got SA in January.
There's the home address stating one in Canada (city+province), and they say they started to process my application on April 23rd and they've made a decision. I know I sound so stupid and annoying but...can it be a refusal? Or is it possible it'll go back to "in process" after this? I wasn't contacted, didn't receive requests for information.. please someone tell me it's not bad news! I'm just in shock. Ok just checked ecas again and it still says DM.

I believe you have to land before the expiration of your medicals

The thing is that they didnt tell us if the medicals have been extended because our original medicals already expired? If the did extend them for a year does that mean we have a year to travel? I heard its usually like 30 or 60 days am not sure!

If you haven't been asked to redo your medicals, then I assume they have extended them, I imagine it will tell you on the letter you receive when you have to land by. you could send them a cse telling them medicals have expired and have they extended them and to which date...

congrats! and indeed - you could ask how long they have extended your medicals for, to have an idea and prepare yourself - as it is a "direct question" you might even get an answer. Extensions of medicals could be up to 1 year... so maybe that would be the case. Could also be 3 months... worth a case-specific-enquiry - or you can answer to the email requesting your passport.

quick question, how often did you contact the London office in this whole process, whether through emails or through calls?

I emailed London 4 times only, and i got reply within 1-2 days each time.

Fact is that : in email i asked so many question but they only answered some of them and ignored rest.

Example : i made mistake on my from and asked them what to do, and also asked them about my medical expiry. But they only answered about the form and ignored the question i asked about my medical.

So i think it depends on the importance of your email.

Hello UK Application people.

Quick and easy one for you - I sent my common law application a couple of weeks ago, can you let me know how long it usually takes to be notified that it is being processed (allowing you to track online), and how do they notify you? Is it by email?
