I don't know if they still do them but I liked the bbq chicken wraps but they were far too small ( I can't believe I am saying that about a canadian product, that it is small)

it does! you quote the first one, then you look down the page and you can "insert quote" like this! :)

I never used to drink coffee but my co-workers would go to Tims every morning. So I started going along for the social element. Then I started to order extra small coffees. Then this time last year I upgraded to small so I could play roll up the rim. Now I have a small every single day Mon-Fri! Wp Tims.

Sounds positive!! So you didn't submit your medical before/with your application?

I did not. I was confused about the whole process, so I emailed London and asked. They said I wasn't to do the medical until they gave the all clear. Which was bulls*%t as it turns out. Thanks London!

Hehe.

Sounds like you're almost there though DGT. And you're actually getting responses from London, they seem to have just given up on mine or something!

You've been waiting a long time michty6. I hope you hear soon. Is your application an easy one? Straight forward? Or complicated?

I thought pretty straightforward: gf and I have been dating for about 5.5 years now, lived together about 3.5 years with plenty of joint leases and other evidence, visa exempt, only lived in the UK (and Canada now) for >6 months so no other police certificates, already living and working in Canada - I even now have my Canadian CA (Chartered Accountancy). The only 'complication' (if you could call it that) is that we have travelled a lot together, including all over Asia while she was doing some studying in China. According to the other forum this slows down your application but I didn't think it would make it THIS slow. The only other slower visa exempt applications on the spreadsheet had (1) fingerprint requests and (2) medical furtherance requests both of which add a lot of time to the process - mine has had neither of these so is the slowest 'straightforward' visa exempt application on the spreadsheet as far as I can see...

Yeh they basically have said nothing but standard responses as to why it is taking so long. They extended the medicals which expired March 7th (I did not think there would be any chance when I applied that these would expire!) - apparently this is a good sign that you are going to get DM - but haven't told me anything since this. But I take this 'sign' with a pinch of salt since the last sign I had was moving to 'in progress and most people go 'in process' then get DM in a matter of days, I have been waiting 91 days since I went to 'in process'.

By my calculations (assuming they work 5 days a week, 7.5 hours a day and it takes 20 minutes to read my application) this means they must have read my application around 1,462 times without being able to make a decision :p
