Mine was received July 7... medical is done and passed..documents requested were schedule a and police report..those were submitted and after that they transferred the file to London
We are basically on the same timeline. Mine was received on July 6th. Schedule a and police certificate were sent. The medical was cleared today and the file was sent to London. My application is for sponsoring my spouse from Pakistan.
Is yours also for spouse?
Can you let me know how your application goes along since we seem to be close to same time frame?
Hopefully the process in London is quick for both of us.

Hey that's quite interesting..would be nice to see how it goes. I am sponsoring my spouse as well who is Pakistani. Of course I will let you know..keep in touch and let me know how yours goes. Let's hope the "lovely" London office doesn't make us wait too long though they have a record of being unresponsive and slow lol. Unfortunately it is so difficult to judge because everyone has different experiences. Would make a lot more sense completing application in Canada though.

Awesome. For sure, I will update you on mine. The thing I guess that is keeping me optimistic is that the medical was requested pretty quickly. I also heard that others processing time was just 4 months.
I kind of agree that why not check everything here, instead of in London, but there is probably a reason for that.
Anyways, good luck and hopefully everything goes well.

4 months out of London?

Curious to know who got processed that quickly. We've been at LVO for 5 and haven't heard anything.

It really does depend. You can't really compare with anybody. Some are processed within 3 to 4 months while others it takes longer. Check the spreadsheet also, let people remain positive rather than be negative ☺. I have seen too many people stress over this a bit too much whenever it is meant to happen it will. My sister applied November 2016 and she hasn't even had Medicals done yet so ya. I honestly feel we should be extremely thankful cases are being processed within a year I know of many who had to wait 3 years, now that is torturous even 1 year is a blessing tbh.

Your sister did not submit upfront medical in November 2016? Before 2017, applicants were allowed to take upfront medical and submit with their application to save time.

Is she on the forum/spreadsheet? I hope she hears from LVO soon.

Her situation is different though. Her husband lives in Canada which they don't consider an urgent case therefore it is slower. There is no point of submitting Medicals upfront when they'll likely ask for it again. I know of some people who had to do medical 3 times. It doesn't make too much of a difference to them since they live together and work anyway but I do hope the ones that are far get theirs done quickly.

Yes inland applications typically takes longer-about 12 months or so. I thought they had applied outand at first.

I was curious to know. On the spreadsheet there are still a lot of blanks. Is this because people have not updated or their case just didn't finish being processed yet ? Any clue..

Mix of both, especially for the 2016 applicants, they havent updated their case on the forum. And for 2017 applicants, they have not been asked for any additional documents or ppr yet.
