We got our passport request today via email around 2:30 pm EST!

Oops, I meant get rid of the yellow not orange. Seems like at least one person (kayan) appreciates all three colors, so I'll keep it unless anyone else has something to add ;D

I like the three colors (or in prep for the future "colours" lol) as it gives an at-a-glance view of where people are at. my $.02

hopefullysoon, you send the application for sponsorship and PR all together, it gets sent to Mississauga where they process the sponsorship part and make sure everything is signed and everything is there, then once approved it's sent to buffalo where they process the PR part.

As far as the visiting visa part, you tell them you're visiting, they'll ask how long or when you plan on returning and based on what you tell them and evidence such as proof that you applied, your husband was approved as a sponsor, how much money you have saved to provide for yourself, they then issue you a visa for how long they want, it's not always 6 months. but once in Canada you can apply for the extension when its time too.

I need an urgent help !! My husband is trying to get the pictures for the PPR that we need to take with us to Buffalo. Can anyone tell me where can he get those dimensions taken in US??as its not a passport photo, we dont know where to get the PR standard photos taken?? He went to macys, sears and JCpenny !! None of them do it

Crazy Sparkle, I just posted this! I called walmart a few minutes ago and they do all the requirements but I am unsure if the date on the back has to be PRINTED or can be WRITTEN. If anyone can help us with this, it would be much appreciated!

Sparkle, we had similar problems in California, do not assume any photo place can take them, we were more than surprised at CVS pharmacy when she was trying to "tippy toe" to get the "right" angle on the photo, even though I had assured her that the photo specifics were very strict! We ended up looking up a specialty photographer one that can do wedding albums and such to take the photos. It cost about $20 more than the $10 at CVS but I wasn't trying to tell the lady how to put in the memory card at this place.
