Thank you for everyone!
its so amazing! I was so frustrated last couple weeks, i thought this day never comes...
i almost gave up last week...saying to myself, it will take like 6-9months, dont stress yourself.
and this morning i got ppr finally.

so nice. im too excited to start planning to have like real normal life with hubby. meaning by this, that i can work etc..

hopefully this week there is lots of ppr! it started to well.


oh and im still waiting the visitor extension....(did i said that already?hmm...too excited, cant remember)

MDU you don't have to get RCMP clearance when you send your app. You need to get police clearance for every country you lived for over 6 months except Canada. CIC does the name checks themselves and if they get a hit they request the prints. RCMP clearance takes no time at all because they have direct access. When they told Rob Barrett they were waiting on the RCMP clearance he received his request shortly after!!!

Don't worry this was the only thing on my mind morning to night! You're next! POsotive thinking )

thanks Kelkel... i had prints taken waaaaay back in October (my immigration consultant advised that i do) for the RCMP but seemingly they werent sent with my application. im very confused now! anyway, the consultant sent them to London a few weeks ago and CIC london are waiting on the clearance.

just to add to this if anyone ever searched RCMP clearance - It seems that because I lived in Canada years ago (student visa) that CIC requested a RCMP check on me. there is no criminal record or anything and my name isnt really a common name (good ould Gaelic name!) but it seems ive fallen foul a of a random check. anyway, il write back when i get my PPR for sure!

Yes my consultant recieved an email this morning! I've yet to see it as she's forwarded it but I haven't got it yet. For some reason I can't get emails lol! I need to see it!

Hello!

I called to call center today to ask about my visitor extension. the woman on the phone told that they can be really slow and they have to give 2 more weeks for them.(i sent my application october 18th and they are processing now october 23th.) she also said, i should just send my passport out now! if i get refused with extension, i dont have to leave immediately anyway. so this is what we are gonna do. she also said to add additional information regarding that i am waiting the visitor extension with my passport.

so tomorrow, im gonna send passport to london and hopefully get it back in a month soooo excited!

have to get all things together tonight so excited! cant wait to land and get sin number etc, and look for a job!!! and really start to condo hunting with hubby!!

how much was it to use fedex? im planning to use it as well...

It cost $70 and takes 2 business days. I went to the 24hour fedex office on University Avenue.

Canada post registered mail was about $85 for 2 business days or $15 for 4-5 business days. But $15 seemed abit cheap, i mean argh, its my passport, I dont want it to get lost!!!

well yeah! i was just looking fedex near us.
and i have to take a copy of my passport, its the only ID i currently have..

have you been looking jobs etc. already?
i have been browsing hours...looking for jobs and condos. just to know what is out there

well, i have to first look should i work or looking for get back to school in near future. so hard decisions i dont know about hairstyling, i think my self confidence is super super low since i have been out of business couple years now. we will see what happens. what about you????

and oh downtown, i love it. soo much. unfortunately, its not gonna happen. ever. hubby is working in brampton, behind the airport so driving from downtown would took too long. the traffic is insane. we use to live in dvp/york mills, and even from there it was pain. but i cant see us moving to brampton

Japan processing time is 5 months now before it was 6 ....not a big difference BUT stilllll 30 days less ;D

well Tokyo got my application in Nov 29 so now its been 3 months ....hoping for the best

Thankz Millu i hope so too, but in Japan 90% they do not send AOR. They just send direct PPR. so i m kind of nervouss too
