Hi everyone. Sorry I have been so quiet for months and months now. First of all the great news...

WE RECEIVED OUR READY FOR VISA LETTER YESTERDAY!!

Because of the transfer of the paperwork, now I have to land in Detroit, but hey that works for me. When they first transferred our paperwork from Buffalo to Detroit way back in April, we were told that we could not ask about its status (even whether it had been received by Detroit!!) for 90 days. We finally heard back in late July letting us know Detroit had indeed received everything and that they were waiting for my medical results, which of course made me paranoid that something had gotten lost in the move. eCAS still had not been updated to reflect anything except that my application had been received. We were excited to see that we had moved to "in process" as of the end of August, then yesterday came the visa letter.

Now it's just a matter of sending Detroit my passport. I can't believe it!!!

Did they send you a email or postal mail stating your file was moved from Buffalo to Detroit?

Still haven't heard anything here and I applied in December...

I check the mail everyday with hope...

I have an update My hubby's file has been moved to LA which i am not thrilled about because they've had the file since jan 26th and its only being transferred now I hope this means they haven't touched it and we have to start over new at LA *sigh*

So sorry to hear that, they must have touched it by now, its been 9 months for gods sake!! Try to remain positive, we know its hard when so many of the December folk are still in process when other months are getting PPR's and landing...fingers and toes crossed for you.

Well now that my wife has landed our attention is now turned to my son going thru the Port of Spain visa Office, he received an email on monday requesting a police certificate of character dont know why? since we sent in one with the file which was originally sent to CIC. however he applied for another one and we should have it in two weeks. the good news is they have not requested any more info on the birth certificate

hey i'm waiting since december from colombo visa office..i had an update from e-cas last week double line

husband name in process application recieved
husband name decsion made application recieved

my husband address disappear from e-cas as well

then heard from mp that they want an interview but till now no date for the interview hubby meds expires oct 15 so worried :'( :'( :'(

What happened to the December spreadsheet that would give us an indication of who from our group is still waiting.

Amaranth I am hoping that you would receive PPR this week.
For me the way POS has been operating its going to be 60 days before we hear from them again since in all of our communications with them when they request information they give 60days to send it and once received but its usually 60 days before we hear again last time it was a birth certificate now its a police certificate of character.

I think quakingaspen was doing the December spreadsheet, but I have no clue when it was last updated (or even posted)

I dug up the Buffalo spreadsheet, and based on that there are four of us who actively post (one who submitted in Oct but had to resubmit in Dec because of missing info, two from the end of Nov but were officially received at CPC-M at the beginning of Dec, and myself.) Two others haven't posted in months, so I don't know if they're still waiting.

Is the police cert something POS always asks for later in the process as opposed to the FBI cert? (does POS even ask for an FBI cert?) It's a shame the offices don't ask for extra docs all at once instead of asking piece by piece... I hope this is it for your son, and the PPR will be the next request!

Hi Everyone,

December/Buffalo applicant here. My Ecas says they received my app on Jan 19th and started processing it May 9th. We have not heard a word since. I have emailed case specific inquiry's with zero response. 2 weeks ago we ordered CAIPS notes. Still Nothing. We had been married for 3 years before we applied. Our application was complete and everything paid in advance.
i am extremely discouraged...
