We started processing ****************'s application on October 7, 2010.

A WEEK AFTER SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL! I can't believe it!!!!!!!!! Pleasepleaseplease let this go quickly so I can have my husband back!!!!

I AM GOING CRAZYYYYYY!!!!!!!

EDIT: How did you guys get an e-mail PPR? Do I have to ask them to use my e-mail address? If I see decision made with no other information I am going to panic. Also, does the applicant receive all letters now or can I request for them to be sent to me? If he's visiting me, he may not get them back home.

We're not at the PPR stage yet so I can't answer that. As for the letters, all the communication is now going to my husband (applicant). He received the letter from Buffalo saying the interview was waived and to send in some more docs, and he received the email saying his application was being processed there. I've had to bug him to forward me copies of everything. The only thing I can see (using my receipt or client number) is that his application is IN PROCESS in Buffalo.

So I was searching around the other monthly threads and there doesn't seem to be too much activity today on e-cas or via emails! I wonder if we will have a surge tomorrow instead, seeing as yesterday was a holiday. Even if I don't hear any news, I can at least live vicariously through others!

sourblush... I was thinking about you all day today and I just wanted to say I agree with the other people on our thread who are saying to take your time before cancelling your application. We obviously don't know the circumstances and why you feel that your relationship is over, but it is so true that you should give yourself a bit more time to process everything!

Yeah, AngelB!!! See, they must have seen how long it took to get your Sponsorship Approval I hope you get PPR quickly! When getting my PPR, I didn't request anything, they just e-mailed me. It's different for everyone (pretty random, it seems!). I got PPR and on ecas it STILL says "in process" hahaha. Go figure that one. They send everything to the applicant now. If he's just visiting brefily, I won't worry too much.

And sourblush, I am going to leave you on this table until if/when you request to be taken off.

Also, I just switched my plane tickets so I will be returning home on November 1 and since I have until November 10 to submit my passport I hope to be in good shape using Express Mail!! (Wish me luck!)

Hi there. Because CIC requested a "furtherance" on my medicals I have been so worried about whether they would send another one or whether it would hold up my medicals going to Buffalo. I asked the doctor if he had sent the furtherance results and he sent me a copy of his email to CIC's Medical department or whatever so I was able to see the persons email address. I sent her an email apologizing for bothering her but I wanted to know if my medicals had been sent to Buffalo. She responded in 1 day and said that yes they had been forwarded to Buffalo and she wished me a great week! I just thought that was so nice and from everything I hear a bit out of the ordinary.

That's great nelly! I had the same experience with the FBI, sometimes I'd get some real nice guy who'd joke with me and things and tell me what wasn't just "by the book". It's refreshing to speak to a real human being.

I can't begin to tell you how badly I want mail!!! I never get mail at home or work but now I check my mailbox every day and then let my little boy check it when we get home "just in case" (my husband's sponsor application has our home address) and I chase my receptionist around every afternoon wanting to know if the office mail came in yet (my PR application has my work address). What is it with the mail system over here?? Sponsorship letter was sent Sept. 14th - no sign of it! AOR, well okay, it was in process as of Sept. 24 so it shouldn't be much longer. No real reason I can think of why I haven't gotten it yet!

Of course, no one outside of my family knows why I am so "into" mail these days and they really must think I am going off of my rocker which; quite frankly, is not too far off!! ???

Today must be my day - NO, I did not get anything in the mail! I wanted to get my hands on my File Number so I could send my receipt for RPR fee to Mississauga and hope that they send it on to Buffalo. Soooo, even though I knew it was unlikely I would get a response, I used the contact form on the Buffalo Visa Office website. I just stated that I needed to send this form to Miss. but I had not received a file number yet. It said it could take up to 20 something days for a reply. Well, I got a reply this afternoon. They just gave me my file number and said they are "unable to provide a date when the processing of my application will be complete". I only asked for my file number. I did not ask for anything else. I am just so happy I got a response at all. Funny how something so small could lift me up so much! What will I be like when I actually receive some correspondence about something I don't ask for??? LOL

So I just checked the website. I am in process WHOOP WHOOP! Started on 30th September. Does anyone know what happens now? Am I supposed to get a pack from the immigration office, i.e. London?
Can't wait to get settled in Canada!

So sorry I haven't updated everyone for a while! We receieved the sponsorship approval on 10/04 And the website shows my permanant residence application in process begining 10/08. Currently I'm in Canada with my wife. I'm about to go back to the States though to continue working until I'm able to legally live here. Glad to see everyones progress!

I almost forgot to ask...we hand delivered our papers/forms to the MICC. Is there any way to see that they have them or have processed them?
