I haven't received the letter yet but they said it was sent out on September 13th. A month to the day that they received my application. I phoned immigration this morning on another small issue and asked if I could find out what the decision is but I was told to wait for the letter. It's got to be approved!!

She said something along the lines of "The rest has been sent to London" and I asked, "Does that mean it has been approved?" and she said, "The Sponsorship portion, yes, has been approved."

I called them just now (since I am impatient and can't wait to get home and check for my letter), and the agent told me that it has been sent to the Visa office in Warsaw, and I asked him if that meant it was approved, and he made it seem that the sponsorship portion was, but he was a little vague in his wording.

On the form where they asked whether you would like to continue the application, if you are refused as a sponsor, I checked 'yes,' so my application would go on to Warsaw anyways, wouldn't it?

wooooo hoooo! We got the official approval letter from Mississauga in the mail and our application is on it's way to Buffalo! Soooo happy!

Yeah same here, everything the Agent said was sort of in a "round about" way. But she DID eventually say a definite "yes" to the approval.

Yes I think if you ticked that it would be forwarded to Warsaw anyway, but if you tick 'No', that should mean that it is sent back to you, not the next Visa office.

Congrats all u gays who approved and good luck to the others how are waiting
mine was received on 9th august 2010 but unfortunately the cic sent it back because of missing forms (lawyer mistake) << the agent said !
i called the lawyer and he said some thing else !!
he said the cic asked for employment letter ( by the way option c already attached to the file )
iam now so confused and angry but i will send them the letter tomorrow and see whats going on
the agent said my case still in process i dont know how while my file sent back and i need some serious answers from my lawyer
by the way i cant log in to ecas using client id or receipt number or pr card number but i can check by the automatic phone service

Hi there,

Okay, both my husband's sponsorship application and my PR application were sent to CIC Miss. on August 13 and received on August 16th. We live in Bermuda. I check the online status today and it says that a "Decision has been Made" and "a letter was sent to us on Sept. 14th" advising us of the decision. Is this good news?? Will they show on the website when the PR application is sent to Buffalo or do we just wait? I think this was pretty quick as they were only just processing applications this week that were received on August 13th so they couldn't have looked at my husband's for too long! What do you think? Everything has been done and sent including medicals.

One problem though that I just noticed, the mailing address is wrong. Anybody else experience this?

@LoveThai - you also had problems with your sponsorship letter, right? You still haven't received yours? Did they get the mailing address wrong?
