am i doing something wrong? should i be using all uppercase letters to check ecas? it still dosnt recognize me and ive yet to recieved anything in the mail. they recieved it july 28th according to canada post

I found out the hard way that it only works with your sponsor's last name, birth date and country. Did you try that?

@Kelsey: I've been able to see all the info only through the sponsor log in... the applicant information didn't come up with anything for us either.

I am from June board but I want to chime in on this. Check the spelling or hyphen and type your name exactly the way they did on E-cas. I had the same problem (I only could see myself "in Process" with my hubby's info (sponsor) but I realized on Ecas that my last names did not have the hyphen "-". Like I just said, if you can see yourself "in Process" by using your sponsor info then you should be able to login with your own info. If not there is something is wrong such as spelling or punctuation.

yeah iam the sponsor and its still not working i hope they didnt loose it, im in active labor right now and i really could do without this added stress of this visa stuff as my hubby is already not with me, i just hope they havnt lost it. or has anyone heard if theyve refused the sponsors application it dosnt show up on cas or it takes longer than usual??

I'm floored, I logged in because dh and I were talking about it, expecting fully to see nothing.

"We started processing xxxxs application on September 2, 2010. ". I'm floored.
I just emailed them asking about the FBI Certificate -mainly so they can contact me with that email in the future.

I will update the sheet at my kids naptime today or before if they allow me. Usually I can't focus properly with the thomas train going and hollering and "super macking". Haha!

I haven't been able to get my name, the applicants to work at all yet. THough I have no AOR from Buffalo yet.

can-usa97 - what, if any, response did you get from B'lo when you emailed about the FBI record?

I emailed too, last week, and just got "Dear applicant - please wait to receive instructions from our office regarding new information"

Well, I just went and checked ecas since can_usa_97 had said hers was in process and we seem to be on a similar timeline and sure enough, my application is in process too!

I can't believe it! It said that they started processing my PR application on September 1st. WOW!

We were hoping to be done with this process by December/January so that we could start adding more kiddos to our family sooner rather than later and we actually have a shot at making our self-imposed timeline. Let's hope everything goes as smoothly as it has so far.
Good luck to everyone else...it looks like Buffalo is moving a bit faster than we think.

My AOR was in my mailbox today too
It didn't indicate much, that they may transfer my file and had the little tags./stickers.


^ I haven't gotten a reply yet from Buffalo - but I Just checked and they rcv'd the email (you know that bounce back you get from them saying that it reached their servers or whatever). I expect a 'form' type reply.

I am wondering how much they've looked into the file or how it works, since they returned my birth certificate with this.

hmm -I never got a bounce back, just a reply the next day. I sent a case-specific inquiry from the CIC website.

weird. anyhow - hopefully we'll have the AOR in the next few weeks....and won't have to worry about re-doing the FBI clearance...

Did you guys just use the Client ID number from the Sponsor's approval or the receipt number?

I have a similar timeline too and did not see anything using my client ID number from Mississauga.

We haven't been able to log in and see the update on ecas yet but my husband called and he got an email about an hour ago for AOR!!! Looks like July apps have sped up! Good luck for all those waiting, it should be soon!
