Thank you,so we include a cover letter with the list of things they requested from us .eg: police clearance, two passport photos,family composition form,and his passport the medical was forwarded to AVO by the doctor

We just apply for our police clearance from Maryland which will take some days but we attached a letter stating other wise with our passport .. hope it okay tho

About 25 days or there about because DHL help the package for a few days ,That was a set back but am just greatful it's all coming to an end

Yes DHL delayed my husband's passport I guess because he sent it from Benin it stayed in Lagos for a couple days we knew because we were tracking it.

I am June too, have they requested for medical?

No they haven't yet. But I know someone who applied mid June and got medicals last week. Hoping ours will come soon.

Am pretty sure it will be ,they are aware that these things takes time to obtain and besides I've seen instances where applicants are given time to obtain a requested document when they informed cic about their circumstances so I think you will be fine .keep your fingers crossed.

Have you tried just clicking on that terms and conditions sentence? (That’s what I did yesterday after getting that error message and it let me through.)

I was actually about to ask this same question....like everywhere is so quiet..but then there are so many people who aren't on this forum who avo are working on their files as well..we are only but a small fraction of the applications avo treats

Please when are the appointment dates for DNA test sample collection in Accra? Has anyone got that experience or passed through that before? Someone told me they have specific dates for sample collection. I have paid the fees in canada and would like to know when they fix dates. Quick response please.

Yeah they have specific dates for the appointment. They will show you where to go as well because the sample will be collected by a Canadian doctor. I knew it to be medilab office in Accra but I don't know if it has changed. So wait for them to tell the date for the appointment, and please go with your passport

So I'm Feb 2017 applicant and we've been contacting our MP to kolnwo the progress of our application. So here's the update



Good afternoon.

I have contacted IRCC today to follow up with your file. This is the information provided; The file is still in process. The medical is valid but they have not started criminality, security, background check. If IRCC has any further request, they will contact you directly. Please check your email often.



I will continue to follow up your file with IRCC until it’s finalized but if you have new updates, please send me an email so I can update your file accordingly.

Hi there, just a quick question. What exactly exactly is an "MP", I've seen several people make reference to them and just want to clarify. Is it 'Member of Parliament'? Sorry if this may sound silly. Just getting lost with all the lingos on here haha. Thanks in advance!
