An MP is your Member of Parliament, who is the federal government representative for where you live. Just google your city/town and MP to find their office contact information. They can only look into your case, they have no influence what so ever. They cannot help you with your case until after the processing time has passed.

I have heard it also, it's an automated message, and after this it will relate the exact info on myCIC. @becos, U can use this method to find information on myCIC. When U call, U just need the application number and your spouse year of birth. The number is (888)242-2100

Sorry guys to interfere, but when you listen to the automated message while calling it does indeed say September 9 2016...But for applications IN Canada (for inland!). There is no info for processing info for outland timing. Correct me if I am wrong. Please don't get stressed.

Hello all members, I have lost hope in this immigration process and decided to take few months break to keep myself busy with other thing cos this whole process is killing me always the same information without any progress. First of all, I would like to welcome all the new member joining this forum and also would like to congratulate those who have had passport request and visa. Last week I send Accra a message regarding my wife's application and this is what I got from them the same thing we have seen over and over again.

Please be advised that your application is currently in queue for review; however an exact schedule is not available at this time. As you know, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received.

Please refer to the CIC web site for information on standard processing times:

@BBC it's the same rubbish they responded to me with I think they have met their quota and is just beating us around the bushes. Just a quick question if an not mistaken didn't you get request for something back in May or there about?

As it is, hubby is planning on coming back December because the way the whole process is going, we may have to wait a while for these guys. Thanks to them our dream of spending christmas together in canada seems bleak. I pray God gives us all patience this period and strength to remain sane.
