Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Good news! I just received a request to submit original passports with recent photographs within 30 days.

received email:

'Dear Sir/ Madam,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We are now ready to issue your permanent residence visas. Please find a letter attached with full instructions on how to submit the required documentation. Please ensure that you read the instructions carefully and submit the Updated Information Chart and photographs along with your passports.

We look forward to receiving the documents and passports within 30 days of the date of this email.'

I have a query: my passports are with UKBA as i made an application to extend my visa which is still under consideration. I have to withdraw my UKBA application which requires 20 working days for me to receive my original documents returned. Any suggestion please?

Will I be overstayed if my passports returned and waiting for canada visa stamping?
Will I get extra days to send passports as due to Christmas, I may not receive my passports from UKBA on time?

Please guide me if anyone gone through similar experience...

You can request LVO to extend the deadline for passport delivery just by one email.
write your file name and officer name in the subject line and in one day you will get extension insha Allah...

First of all Mubarak/COngrats to all who got PPR/Med etc (Hum to abhee tak in Zaiqoon say ashna nahin).

Now my question
I am trying to find an answer on HOW TO FILL THE FUCKING IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM and yet to receive some help

This form or the MF who designed this form asks
This for must be completed in DUPLICATE for all persons 18 years and over.

What the heck he/she meant in Dupliacte?

Somebody expalined the other day that by duplicate he/she meant

Fill one form with you as a Principal Applicant
Fill second form as your wife being Prinicipal Applicant and you as spouse

Someone else explained as below

Fill in bthis form twice with exactly same information for both your wife aand yourself and at the page where here is a place to sign, sign in your name on one and your wife's name on second?

Please if someone has filled this and have not been asked again by these MFs to refill nad resend then please confirm which approach is correct

Another glitch when filling these forms there are columns for Dependant 1 Depoendat 2 Dependant 3 etc
Question is if the dependants are not of 18 years of age then while filling these foroms their parents will be filling these columns as well and let me make it clear here that If i am filling my form shall i put the informoation for all my kids as well on my form.?

Any help much appreciated.

[Yes, you are right Kisanteboy, Thank you very much to RIH. Rih is very quick responding officer as I made two time enquiries and received medical to first email and received PPR to my second email. ]

dear WAY,
mine VO was also SJM and now CDD same email received from CDD
as per my experience when all is OK in security then SJM forward for visa issuing otherwise forward to CDD for further Verification. CDD also asked me furtehr details for Schedule A and security concerns.
this is my personal observations. anyhow wish u good luck and u please pray for me.

What the heck he/she meant in Dupliacte?This form must be completed in DUPLICATE for all persons 18 years and over. In Simple words Print four copies 2 for yourself and 2 for your spouse. Fill out one copy for yourself and again fill out another copy with same details sign it and date it ditto copies. Repeat this process for your spouse fill two copies and she will sign it and date it. Answer the questions 1-20 according to situation of both spouses. if you have dependent 18 years or above fill out for them two copies each with same detail. The logic is behind duplicate forms is that One Original remains at CHC while other original goes for background checks to external agencies.

This form is for 18 years and above, if dependents are not 18 plus then no need to fill out separate forms.if dependents are not 18 plus then simple enter their details in all copies of your self and and your spouse. It means you have to fill out four times same details of dependents in your and your spouse Immigrant summary form
