m also NOV-12 medical done applicant (MI-1)............i sent them Original BC + Notarize photocopy............i didnt get this type of email uptill today...........
seems BG checks are still underway on NOV-12 medical done applicants.....sooooooo with this move from LVO we can expect PPR-1 in April-13 onward only................

Guys,

I need advice on current trends on POF requests?

When I applied in 2010 , I was asked for POF with other documents, so I submitted PKR currency bank statement. Now I am anticipating that they will again ask for the funds . My Questions here are:

1- Do I need to send the same-bank statement?
2- Do I need to show 6 months (or more) balance in the bank statement?
3- For how long POF bank balance needs to be maintained after sending POF statement details to VO?
4- Does VO ask for the POF with MR or later. What is the trends so far?

(Actually I am keeping the amount but not in Bank; I will deposit the appropriate amount to create the bank statment as a POF)

Just a small update.

Two weeks back i sent them birth certificates of entire family members, a marriage certificate and DD of landing fee.(obviously upon their request)
I was over with my medicals back in Nov 2012, I was also a 6 - 12 months wait letter holder.
Waiting for PPR 1 now.

My updated forms letter asks to quote file number on all correspondence including envelope. envelope part is self explainatory but what does the first part mean. should i write file number on every page of every form i am supposed to send visa office?
