Got my passport back today with visa and landing papers.

At this point in time when CIC asked original passports for visa stamping within the given period .... I dont know what is the given time period ??? .... it may 20/30days but you could know better that could you get your new passports after renewal.......OR may extend the visa processing time......BUT if you could manage to travel before Apr-2015, so dont go for any hassle, fly with the current passports.

When did you sent passport to Islamabad

Its written in form that passport expiry date should have validity
of 12 months from Medicals..
But our passports' expiry month is April 15'...
I read that if passports will get renewed the case shall be disturbed
Do we have to renew the passports or send them to Islamabad..??
Pls help in urgent..

When did you sent passport to Islamabad

submitted it on 27th october. Took 11 days as there were Moharam holidays as well.

Today, My family submitted their passports in Islamabad, while I submitted my passport in Rome, Italy

Does anybody guess how much time will it take in our case? I remember there was one member on this group, who submitted his passports in UK, while his family submitted passport in Lahore.

Please have some patience.
if submitted through Fedex - Max 7 days
If submitted through TCS - Max 30 days
From LVO it takes 45 Days

If you have got PPR 2 , submit passports straight away
Your Visa validity will be your passport expiry date

Actually, I have to travel to Finland on 10th Dec (PhD stuff etc), That's why I am a bit worried.

Many things are running in parallel.

No via Jerry's Fedex. It took longer than 7 days i think because of holidays and weekend combined.
