They want transcripts in university sealed envelopes. You would have to ask your university to provide you another marksheet in a sealed envelop. And do not open the envelopes. These have to be sent as it is to the CIO. This is only for Degree and post grad. School certificates have to be notarized by a certified notary.

Sushicat is correct in our VO Manila no need to get transcript in a sealed envelop beside here in manila if your going to ask for additional TOR to your registrar they will ask you if your going to use it locally or for international application .Francis, Since your going to use it Abroad coz your going to send your documents to canada they will process it along with certification from CHED and from DFA (REd Ribbon) in my case before, it took almost 1 and half month just to get the TOR..

Im a bit worried because im under an agency.I submitted all the requirements to them..complete docs..but when I asked them for a scan copy of those docs submitted to CIO..they cant send me a scan copy of my valid identifcation ID which is my driver's license..so I asked them if its included..The man said..he is not sure coz he cant find a file copy in his computer but he told me
that if Im sure that I have submitted a copy to them then Its in the package..I told him that I am sure of it and I have a received file copy from them..Im just worried because the CIO is asking for 2 valid Id's right? then what if , They only submitted 1 valid ID? how will it affect my application? Im afraid CIO will not start the process because of just 1 incomplete valid ID.

can anyone answer?thank you.

remember there's one question in one of the forms regarding the " IDENTIFICATION CARD NUMBER", & also stated there to provide a photocopy of the said ID. ;D

hi there..Im not sure..but my agency asked me for 2 valid Id's aside from my passport..
I have submitted a copy of my passport and PRC Id..plus a driver's licence..but the inclusion of
my driver's license was not sure because I didnt received a scan copy of it re: the submitted docs by my agency.

Il give you some updates once my files are received and encashed by CIo.anyone knows how to get the exact 5 points for proof of relatives? because Im single.,so Im just relying on the 5 points from the support docs given by my relative in canada.

Hi tocy80,

You cannot apply for your parent as dependant. Only spouse and child (if any) can be considered as dependant at the moment. You can sponsor a parent only after you get your PR, go to canada and apply for the parent in the family class sponsorship program which should take approximately 6 months for the family class app process. Good luck on that.

thanks for the suggestion...but does it only take 6 months after PR?....in website i went to visa office information...there they are saying it may take around 39 months (i may be wrong)!

I dont think so coz I sent my documents in a large envelop, it wont fit to a small one particularly school credentials and my application form thats why i decided to put all of them to a larger size , even last year I did the same thing but still they accept it..

Refers to children of dependent children of the principal applicant or those of his or her spouse or common-law partner.

Will it be difficult for you to procure another copy? I would advise you to get a new one just to be sure, and also you don't need to have it on DFA Red Ribbon which will cost you a lot. Just have it certified by the school.

Yes your correct. but the protocol right now if your going to ask for certified true copy of your TOR particularly for international application purposes, the school will forward the certified true copy of your documents to CHED once it was certified by the CHED , ched will send it to DFA and you have to get your documents to that agency. The school will ask you to come back to them so that you can get the claim stub and its written there the date of released ... Try to request for local use so you get it right away and i hope there no stamp for local purposes only. A friend who have relatives who works as a registrar in one of university here in manila she said to me that their implementing that so that they can help and minimize the number of fake documents particularly school credentials being sent to DFA red Ribbon .. so if its interagency most probably they are sure that the documents are genuine.
