hi, i would like to ask, in Shedule 1 Background/ Declaration
Question no.2 YOUR FULL NAME WRITTEN IN YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE OR SCRIPT

Even if we don't have a native language or script, do I still need to write my full name as I answer question no.1 (YOUR FULL NAME) or just print N/A on it? please help.. thank you

Hi NKKD,

In our last year's application (31 Aug 2010) we had included 10th class passing certs, which mentions our birth dates but unfortunately CIO didn't accept that as proof . Only after (sometime in sep 2010)they started accepting alternative secondary documents showing birth date for New Delhi Visa office applicants. As I'm from India, many people born in 1970s do not have birth certs with them. Registration of birth became compulsory in India only in late 80s.To beat the cap, sending our application in august became a hurdle for us, as 1122 NOC was open till late october. I hope this time everything goes fine I am only worried about the cap.

Thank you RKC for the information. I am in the same boat with respect to birth certificate. I am sending affidavit from parents, 10th certificate and proof of birth letter given by Consulate Generalo of India in USA. I hope they will accept.

I hope they count this, But as I have Nurse tutor course which can be done after BSc nursing and i did Masters in nursing and Nurse tutor(RGN, RCN, RNT, MSc), Iam not sure wats the education policy in canada is to compare the studies...
But i have only included my regular nursing job,.

Thanks for the info. I hope they would consider mine. My one year experience as a staff nurse is not counted because it's not paid as is the practice in most of Philippine hospitals. My only paid work as a nurse is as a clinical instructor (clinical nurse educator in Canada?), which the routine is : in a week, 4 days duty with students in different areas and 1 day school duty. So it's actual duty supervising students do the real thing.

Hi jubes,

I hope they do. I read somewhere in the CIC NOC that a registered nurse may supervise others in the area as part of his/her job, just like what a clinical instructor does. Others in the forum said a lot has applied as such provided you prove you are mostly in patient contact in the hospitals. There are a lot of clinical instructors whose work is mostly duties and would report to schools only for meetings, no lectures.
As for the education, I am not sure because compared to other countries, we lack at least 2 years (hence the govt is proposing the K12 program in our educ system). but if you have a master's degree, a guess that would count as additional years to your educ.

Clinical Instructor is accepted it is a sub category of Registered NUrse.... if your going to read the last year post of Applicant after 6/26 some of them are Nurse but working as CI and now they have their maple leaf visa in their Passport....

Why wait for 120 days? I see March, April, and May applicants got PER about 30-50 days, it is right?????

Hi moyrzg,

The expected date of delivery was 8th, which got delayed. The parcel has already reached Nova Scotia. They may receive it on 9th. I don't think they are encashing any1's CC or DD as of now, because if they did, it would come under the cap and reflect in their website. Maybe they would wait for a few more days before opening the whole lot and checking for completeness of all the applications. It is only then that they will encash. So the wait is still on!
