Hopefully we will all be rid of the Conservative Party come Monday:
If the coalition government takes power on Monday they will hopefully make good on their election promises and repudiate (revoke) the new immigration legislation including the list of 38 priority occupations.

Hi, based on the tone of your message it is clear as to whom you favour. As a matter of interest however what is your forecast, and be realistic, this ain't a thumb suck?

From what I heard, even if they do have the no confidence vote, the governor general still has to approve it. If she does and we have a new government, then there's a question about how high on their priority list is the immigration. I wouldn't hold my breath for it anyway.

Although I don’t like Conservatives as being ‘obedient neighbours’ of the United States (and a few things that their ‘US-dependent’ mentality makes them do) but I still applaud them for the improvements they try to bring into the Canadian society by passing new legislations. The introduction of tougher punishments for youth crimes is my favourite example I like to quote in these situations.
