I need some advice! I am getting really nervous because I still haven't received my PR Card in the mail yet... I got PR almost 3 months ago, March 7th, and nothing has came in the mail. Should I be freaking out at this point? Will they mail it to my old address in the United States or should I be expecting it to come to my Canadian address? I just want to have the card in hand. I have a SIN Card, waiting on provincial health care to kick in on June 7th, and am going to be job hunting as soon as we move into our new apartment in a different town. I am really just stressed out about not getting anything in the mail... ???

Wait for the instruction of CEM...your already in process..wait for the visa at decision made on ecas

Hello! Want to share good news! CEM called me at 4:14PM today and told me to bring my passport on Thursday May 29, 2014 at 8am for VISA issuance. Thank you Lord! God Bless us all!

Does anyone have an idea? If the sponsored spouse's eCAS status changed to DM - what is the longest wait time for the applicant to get the passport with visa/COPR back? Thanks for all the kind replies. ;D

recently there have been people getting their passports back within a week or two after DM; but that's not a hard and fast rule

I'm a newbie. I just got kicked out of a forum and asked to look for this one. But is looks like everyone here's already received good news so I may be joining too late.

I'm already in Canada on a 3-year Worker Visa expiring Oct'15. I arrived and married Canadian fiancee Oct 2012. My PR application seems to be in Ottawa judging from the email from CIC saying that we can email them back "OttPilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca" if there are any problems documents attached in their email.

Here are my dates.

Status from eras
1. Received your application for permanent residence on July 3, 2013
2. Medical results have been received (that's probably the 2nd round sent April'14!)

Originally submitted outland NY. Now in Ottawa-Pilot.
$550 paid on 28 June 2013
$490 landing fee paid February 11, 2014
1st Medical & police report submitted with application on July 3, 2013
2nd Medical, police report & requested pictures submitted April 4, 2014

Does anyone have some experience around how much long the wait time might be? It's 10 months counting….. Will I possibly have to extend my Worker Visa for another year to 2016? Most joiners in this forum seems to already have DM or PR in 10 months - I'm still application/medicals received. And I thought my case should be easy for CIC!

i think ottawa is 15 months. you still a little bit more waiting. are you in oe outland?
