@legalfalcon

January 2020 applicant here. I received a request letter from LVO, asking for additional information related to my travel history (intention of travel trips and how they were financed). I replied back with detailed explanation of my travel trips. I want to ask should I send scans of expired passports (showing entry exit stamps, visa stickers) via webform?? I only uploaded bio page of my valid passport at the time of application, as there were no travel stamps in the valid passport (all travel stamps are in expired passports).

Thanks in advance for your forever support. The request letter was received and replied back almost 2 months ago
You have already provided the required info. IRCC is not doubting that you took those trips, for which old visas and entry / exit stamps would help. They only wanted to know intention of travel trips and how they were financed.

You can surely send them old visas and entry / exit stamp. No harm in submitting extra documents, but they are not on point.

Dear @legalfalcon, I got this in my webform reply “The background verifications are in process” while eligibility, criminality and security are passed already. Let me know what you think. Thank you so much!

Not sure what your question is. If your security and criminality is passed, and BGC is in progress, that's strange.

If your are submitting your documents post ITA, transcripts are not required. Only the degree diplomas are required. However, if you still want to submit them then you can do what best retains the integrity of the documents and also enclose a pdf with it explaining the issue and if you can provide a way from IRCC to download it directly from a link, that would be even better.
Hi @legalfalcon I have a degree certificate, which says that my degree was conferred to me on XYZ date. Is that enough as proof? I was going to upload black and white copies that I have.

Hi @legalfalcon, hope you can advise.

I am one of the lucky ones awaiting for biometrics appointment in GTA.
However I am pretty sure everything will be fine, but I will be bald by the end of it.

My situation:
AOR - Feb 19
BIL - Mar 2

CEC with LMIA job offer (currently I am on closed WP)

Question: I hope to get CoPR by the end of the year (yeah, I know, optimistic).
Can I change employer after I receive CoPR? I received an offer from different company, they are willing to wait until Jan-Feb to hire me.
I know that landing process changed due to pandemic.

If you have submitted your PR application you are eligible for a BOPW and with it you can work for any employer.

As regards cOPR, currently IRCC is issuing COPRs and effective the date of the COPR when it is sent you become a PR. Once you have a PR status you can work for any employer or even start your own business.

Earlier after receiving the COPR, you had to get it stamped at the border or take an inland appointment at an IRCC office. This was later changed to a phone interview and now they have done away with it and as soon as you get a COPR, you are a admitted PR. This is only for inland applicants.

Hi @legalfalcon
After rejection of my PR application due to wrong ECA, I created new profile and mentioned that I had BCPNP. I applied for BCPNP to be linked with my profile but processing time is 3 months and today after 1 month when I checked my EE profile it says my provincial nomination expired because it wasn’t received in time. I googled and the time limit is 30 days.
As per BCPNP post nomination guide I shouldn’t have mentioned that I had PNP whole creating new profile.
What should I do now? Will my PNP Certificate when re-issued be accepted by CIC and give me 600 points? Or should I creat another EE Profile ‍♂

Thanks a lot @legalfalcon for your reply. I woke up to an exciting news that my application has been sent for comprehensive security screening (confirmed through CBSA Notes). The confusion I have is that I was asked for an ADR of travel history details and the due date for this ADR is on the 18th of November, 2020. As per my my CBSA notes, the security screening status is not started. Does it imply that the security screening will start after the review of ADR or it has already been started. I am very confused.

My eligibility was passed in August 2020 and security screening entry date is after 10 days of eligibility being passed. The activity section has only one activity of security screening and new value of that activity is not started.

CBSA notes were executed on 7th October, 2020. Also they have sent both the applicant me and my spouse for comprehensive security check, is that normal?

If your profile has already been rejected you will have to create a new profile. You can send a webform and request for a change in your profile. But the fastest way would be to create a new one and get your PNP nomination linked to your profile.
