They requested for Addnl Family Info IMM5406. I filled in the details and submitted. However, later realized that I need to highlight the Sections in the IMM5406 document which are not applicable to me (for e.g. Children Info) as NA which I did not. I only filled in the Sections that were relevant to me (I am Single). Saw this mentioned at the top of the form and also read in some of the posts in the forum. Now however, the status has changed from 'We need additional documents' to 'We do not need additional documents' and BG has changed to IP. Can I assume that the IMM5406 document has been accepted fine and they would not get back to me asking me to fill in all sections in the document?

But just wondering if raising a CSE and explaining this will further complicate matters or delay the process. Shouldn't the fact that they accepted the form and changed the status to We do not need addnl documents and started the BG mean that they must have reviewed the form already.

Hi legal falcon,
I need your advice.
My application was rejected yesterday as it was deemed incomplete. My daughter 's birth certificate was not included as we submitted a paper from Indian embassy stating her date of birth according to information in passport.
I m a Ontario pnp applicant. (Nomination-22 feb)
ITA - 22 feb 2017
AOR - 31 march.
Application rejected after 110 days.
I want to know as I have to start afresh after waiting for almost 1 1/2 years. Can this nomination from oinp be available if I open a new express entry profile??
My CRS score -437
I am going to open new express entry profile now. Your valuable advice is much needed.

Hi @legalfalcon

Pre ITA, in my EE profile I have mentioned my spouses educaiton, did not claim any points for it and no WES evaluation so. For some reason I can provide proof for it before the deadline.

is it ok if I remove it and move it to personal history in post ITA for e-APR? What are the consequences I am looking at?

Thanks,
Chikoo

Thanks for reply, but cant he send me his signed gift deed on plain paper then I get it notarized in India?

Getting a document notarized mean that the person signing the document presents himself before the notary public and signs it. The notary only authenticates that the person signed the document in his presence. How can you do that in the absence of the person.

@legalfalcon can I show Mutual Funds as PoF? I can get it written from my bank that what is my total investment's current value and what amount can be redeemed

I do not want to liquidate the funds as they are less than one year old and I'll have to pay Short Term Capital Gains tax on it.

Yes, you can use mutual funds and show them as PoF, but the bank or the financial institution will have to give you the letter mentioning that the mutual funds can be readily liquidated and the amount available.

Don't go by status, instead look at GCMS notes. The status change would most likely reflect that the document has been accepted, but order a set of GCMS to be on the safer side.

You can ask ONIP to link the nomination with your new profile.

Yes, you can move it and there are no consequences. However, make sure that you CRS and MEC points are not reduced.

Legalfalcon, when we are scanning passport, must four corners of page be visible? Can they be slightly cut off, and just show stamps?

The document scanned showed be clearly and completely visible. No part of it should be left out.

Okay does that only apply to passport?

What about affidavit (mine is slightly cut off) but very visible and other documents?
Edit : just to add my affidavit Is on white paper w no marks on 4 sides so a little cut off makes no difference

As long as the entire document is in there, you are fine. When you say a little cut off, little may mean something for, and something else for me. So I cannot answer that. All that is important is that the document should be clear, legible and completely scanned.
