TFW First time filling TD-1. Am I a resident?

Hi,

I found a job in Canada and just moved to Canada as a Temporary Foreign Worker 10 days ago after a long LMIA, visa process.
My company wants me to fill TD-1 federal and provincial.
My wife will come to Canada end of this month with an open work permit. She is unlikely to find a job this year.
Am I a resident?
Can I deduct from dependent suppose amount?
