Hello - apologies if this question has been asked, I was unable to find it. In light of the question:
"During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident?"
I am working on my inlaws application, and they did have visitor visa status prior to becoming a PR but were not physically in Canada. I am assuming that that would mean they did not have temporary resident status (as they were not in canada). I don't want any of their days counted (prior to becoming a PR) as I have enough already, but wanted to ensure I would not be doing anything wrong by selecting NO even though they had a valid visitor visa.
Appreciate your help - thank you.
