Hello Everyone,

Just for the info. CIC received my PAPER application on the 8th of October. No result yet. I check my tracking number multiple times in a day. Will let you guys know for sure as soon as I get some results. After reading the other posts I am hopeful that we should get our PAPER apps back in 60 Days. Please keep updating your statuses.

Hi!
I just got my passport back and TRV on it! Just in time for my flight on the 12th.. I send my application on the 10th and they got it on the 11th via UPS.. Thanks God! Got it just in time for my Dec. 12 flight, exactly 2mos. Keep on praying and hoping friends...

I applied online within Canada and I have a work permit. Before that I called them and they said processing time about 21 days. so I applied Nov 15 and didn't receive anything.
I bought my vacation package with my friend non refund and codt $3000 :( For Dec 13

So my money gone.

I don't blame the immigration, it is my fault. I should have applied earlier and thousands of people are applying for visa because of christmas. I am sure they are doing there best to finish all pp, I just wish the processing time in their website to be more realistic.

PAPER APPLICATION

applied - oct 18th
reached them- oct 22nd
approved -dec 1st ( SUNDAY- so they might be working overtime)
passport sent out on- dec 4th
passport back in hand -dec 9th
flight- dec 11th

NOTES: I Called the call centre and they made a note on my file, i faxed my flight info to them as well, i emailed( but i got generic responses), but in order to truly find out where my passport was i went to the member of parliment in my riding ( oliva chows office) and they were able to find out when my pp left and where it was in the process.
