Hi mine. Reached the ottawa office oct.18 until now my tracking no.is not yet activated,i re booked my flight already and paid for 525 additional charges,this is for the 10th of dec.this is to tight. for me.pls advise me when u guys received ur pp.ok.thank u

I have sent an email to CPP office to know status. They have replied back saying:

Dear Client,

Our office confirms that your application is currently in process as per regulatory procedures.
Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.
Should you wish to travel urgently and recover your passport, you may send us a request to withdraw your application.
Please note that you retain the option of applying for a temporary resident visa at the overseas mission responsible for the country where you will be travelling.

We thank you for your patience. In order to efficiently process requests, we will not reply to duplicate emails.

Someone please tell me the procedure to withdraw my application.

If i made my withdraw request on monday will i get my passport back by 5th Dec?

This year I had to withdraw a work permit application. I did it by sending an e-mail to Question@ cic.gc.ca asking for withdrawal with the following information:

Complete Name:
Client ID number:
Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD):
Country of birth:
Address:
Telephone number:
Application type:
Date the e-Application was transmitted:
Online application reference number:
Payment receipt number:

New temporary resident visa 26 days October 21, 2013 (Paper application).

And i my application was submitted on same date Oct 21st.

What to do now? Should i wait or withdraw my application?

Have you asked them for your passport? Have you sent an e-mail or a fax? I am getting really nervous for this situation, I have tickets for all my family for next week and I am still waiting for the passports. I also apply on Oct 18th (paper application).

My application was also received on Oct 18/2013. But I sent it by regular mail.

Yes, I sent my application by expressport but I forgot to write down the track number.
