How did you get the police check done in Israel?

Did you sent it to the embassy before submitting? I've been told in Israel that they only send it to the embassy, so I can't include the police certificate with the applications.

here is my timeline,

part one application sent to Canada

application sent 3/27/15
application received notice 04/27/15
sponsorship approval 6/26/15
number of days it took from authorization of receipt to sponsorship approval 60

part two (application sent to Israel)

authorization of receipt in Tel Aviv office 8/8/15
esacs in process: 9/8/15
days it took from sponsorship approval to in process: 150
additional documents request 23/10/15
passport request 26/11/15!

notes:
we had a clean application everything was fine after it was sent in thank god,
we did the medical upfront and it had expired they did ask us to do a another one.. so i would suggest doing the medical after you get sponsorship approval because it isn't cheap, and if any problems come up, you know it takes months.. we actually did it 3 times (took us along time to get our application in order due to expired identification :-\
when they asked us to send in additional documents they asked us for the medical, the police certificate from the Israeli police, apparently the one they give you in the police office isn't the right one, but we just did it on-line and they sent it to the Canadian embassy we didn't have to do anything, our original marriage certificate and to pay the right of permanent residence fee they gave us on the note a date that everything had to be in by, two months from the letter and we sent in it within two weeks and exactly one month later we got the passport request

wish all of you good luck

xo

Hi all,
My name is Nick, i really need some help since i see you all know what you are doing.

I am a Canadian Citizen living in Israel for the past 30 years, my wife is Israeli/American and we both live together in Tel-Aviv. We have 2 kids (They are both Canadian citizens - age 1 and 3).

We are moving to Canada next year and i am sponsoring my wife, i have all the forms/documents in place but i have few questions i would love to get your opinions from your experience.

1. Do i need to add the form 3911E? my wife needs to write all the information again (Millitary, school, relationship etc..) we already had it in another form.
2. Does she needs to have the Supplementary information form in the 3911E form too?? (page 12-15)
3. Do i need to have 8 photos of each family member (50X70 CM) as described in the 3911E form?
4. Where do i tell the embassy to send the police certificate? or they should keep it until i know where my file will be forwarded too from Missaussaga?
5. Do i need to send photos of our wedding, communication proofs etc?? we live togteher since we met.
6. Do i need to notarized any copy i do (passports too??) or just the translated certificates (Marriage, name change etc.).
7. The fees i need to choose are $75 for sponsor and $475 for principal applicant ?

I hope it's not too much asking and i will be forever grateful.

All the best.

Nick Sherby, CPA

Passport request received today!

A bit confused on where to send it. To the Ottawa address or the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv?

Also, if we choose to pick it up, do we pick it up from the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv?
