Dear All,
Hope someone can comment and provide some info.
I will be landing soon in Canada as a permanent resident.
Due to the transitions and some pending projects I have with my current company, they are interested to extend my employment , and I will work from home in Canada while supporting the transition.
This work will take 4 months to complete, and if they have decided in the long run to transfer me to Canada office , they will arrange for a formal transfer. Currently our Canada office don't have any vacancy or any open positions, and I will be working in Canada under a foreign payroll.
My questions is:
1. Is this taxable? I mean the 4 months I will be under a foreign payroll?
2. How do I declare this to CRA? Will I file and include this when i file my tax return?
mark.
Hope someone can comment and provide some info.
