super visa processing time?

Hi,

my mother would like to visit Canada for 2 years.

Im trying to get an average idea how long it takes to get the visa, anyone have an idea? She is Icelandic (so nordic). She is allowed as a visitor for 6 months. Should I tell her to come here as a visitor and then apply for the super visa or should we start the process before she comes?

Hoping it won´t take many months.

She can only apply super visa outside Canada or apply to extend her stay while in Canada.
