Super Visa from india during covid

Hi everyone,

i want to apply for my parent’s super visa . They currently have a visitor visa and are in Delhi. Questions:
1. Are the biometrics appointment ongoing? If not, is there an exemption?
2. How long does it take for them to get a medical?
3. Do you get the medical insurance starting from date of application to 1 year? feels like they will be wasting time waiting for the processing and then their insurance will be ongoing??

1. Have they already done their biometrics for their TRV? In the past 10 years?
2. Depends on the doctor in their area. They may also need to do a sputum culture which can take 3 months
3. You buy the policy but you only start the coverage when they arrive in Canada
